Dear Editor, In our area of Mendocino County, as well as many others, there is no home delivery from the US Post Office. Requiring every person to drive to the post office to check on their mail does help local businesses, I suspect, but wastes time causes congestion and contributes to pollution. As we try to limit our driving to essential trips only, it would make much more sense to have home rural delivery like the rest of the country and most of the world.
